The Rector

The one who has the overall responsibility of Holy Angels Novitiate is the rector. He has direct authority over all the personnel of the religious house: the priests, brothers, novices, postulants and lay workers. He also has authority over all the missions served by the priests of the Novitiate. It is his duty to maintain order in the operation of the Novitiate.

Further, the rector has the spiritual oversight of the members and thus ensures the proper exercise of all the liturgical and spiritual practices of the community.

 It is his responsibility to organize the course of studies for those in formation and to set the major schedules for all those who dwell in the house.   

Finally, it is his duty to oversee the care for the property: legally, financially and physically.
